In a statewide telephone poll conducted last week, 73% of those surveyed believe you should please, please not bring a six-pack of the popular ’90s malt beverage Zima to the crawfish boil this weekend.
Sure, the limited edition reissue of Zima seems like a zany, keep-em-guessin’ throwback choice to toss in Gary’s cooler among the Michelob Ultras, but roughly 365 of the 500 randomly sampled respondents really wish you wouldn’t pull this dick move.
Nineteen percent surveyed said they guess you can buy whatever you want, as long as you’re prepared to drink it yourself, and 5% of households would prefer you go big and buy Bartles & Jaymes wine coolers if you’re going to be an asshole about it.
Meanwhile, 2.9% said they have no opinion, and one Mormon household declined to answer.
