There Can Be Only One – The Podcast 79: “Revenge”

[Explicit language]

TCBOO-Podcast-logoTwo movies titled Revenge enter, only one will leave (with that title) as Herman “OmegaPrime” Davis and Robert Rau watch a lady go berserk on three guys — and Kevin Costner do something really stupid— to determine which movie should be called Revenge.

This was the third movie watched from Fantastic Fest, and in this one you have a couple on a relaxing vacation that is rudely interrupted by the guy’s friends. They do tons of stupid, murderous stuff, and she wants justice. This movie was so gory, one person legitimately passed out while watching it. The only issue is is this movie truly representative of the word “revenge”?

The second film is a Tony Scott film starring the hunky Kevin Costner as an ex-Navy pilot looking for some rest and relaxation. So he calls up Anthony Quinn, a shady guy with Mexican mob ties, so he can hang at his place. It turns out Quinn is married to Madeleine Stowe, and boy does she have the hots for Kevin Costner. This should end well.

But what movie is good enough to call itself Revenge? Listen if you dare.
