White House Deputy Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders vehemently offered a colorful and wholehearted maternal defense of President Donald Trump from the media’s pointed questions at a recent press briefing.
“Y’all best leave my Donald alone,” Sanders interjected as a reporter began asking about the Trump administration’s response to the latest developments regarding the probe into Russia’s interference in the 2016 election. “He ain’t done nothing wrong! I tell you right now, he’s an angel. An ANGEL, I say! He don’t do NOTHING wrong!”
Later, Sanders was asked if Trump had broken his campaign promise to ensure all Americans would have health care coverage.
“Y’all just jealous cuz my Donald beat your ugly heifer. Now y’all stop all this foolishness and leave my baby alone. He ain’t never caused no trouble.”
“Nuh-uh! Not my baby!” she replied emphatically while rolling her neck and wagging her finger at the reporter who posed at least a portion of the question before Sanders interrupted him. “Y’all just jealous cuz my Donald beat your ugly heifer. Now y’all stop all this foolishness and leave my baby alone. He ain’t never caused no trouble.”
An impassioned Sanders responded similarly to several more critical queries about the president and his administration from the White House press corps. The briefing came to an abrupt end when an extremely animated Sanders had to be held back by members of her staff after a reporter mentioned the word “impeachment” in regard to Trump possibly violating the U.S. Constitution’s emoluments clause by profiting from foreign interests while serving as president.
Moments before being led out of the room, Sanders lunged toward several cowering journalists, shouting, “You best get my Donald’s name out your mouth before I come over there and smack it out your mouth!”
