Right out of the gate of this episode from Huey’s Bar in downtown Baton Rouge, Jeremy White chats with Wilborn Nobles and Elbis Bolton about their new POWER (Police Officer Watchdog Event Reporter) app, which allows users to submit video and images of police conduct (good or bad) directly to newsrooms.
Afterward, Jeremy welcomes in the tingly Sunny Weathers and Huey’s proprietor and Baton Rouge Metro Councilman John Delgado. For the past few days, Sunny’s balls have been vibrating. Constantly. And no, it stopped being awesome after four minutes.
Turning their attention to the State Capitol, the trio then discusses House Bill 707, House Bill 745, and Gov. Bobby Jindal’s presidential ASSpirations. They also talk about a firefighter who spent taxpayer money on a “genital enhancement device,” as well as the Sorrento Police Department’s phishing fishing scams.
Other topics include the varying consequences for male and female teachers who screw underage students, the Waco biker shootout, and dead BASE jumpers who shouldn’t be mourned.
