It’s that time of year again, folks. The time when that nerd of a co-worker who’s never even watched a basketball game in his life somehow beats you in the office bracket pool.
And for the third year in a row, we’re offering our own Louisiana-themed version of March Madness to help you be even less productive at work for the next couple weeks.
The 16 all-time hottest women born in Louisiana face of against each other for the chance to go against the greatest of the 16 all-time greatest athletes from the Bayou State.
Last year, you crowned Edwin Edwards champion of our “Crooked vs. Cooked” tournament, while two years ago, WBRZ’s Whitney Vann defeated bourbon to win our “News vs. Booze” competition.
This year, we’re forcing the wordplay even more with our brotastic “Foxes vs. Jocks(es)” tournament, wherein the 16 all-time hottest women born in Louisiana face off against each other for the chance to go against the greatest of the 16 all-time greatest athletes from the Bayou State.*

To qualify, the Foxes had to have been born in Louisiana, while the Jocks(es) had to either:
- be born in Louisiana,
- compete for a Louisiana college or university, or
- spend a majority of their pro careers with a Louisiana team.
So get ready to vote (as often as you care)! Every day for the next 15 days, there will be a matchup in each division, with finals voting taking place April 3-5.
The tournament kicks off Thursday, March 19, with the 1 vs. 16 matchups. Polls will be open from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. each day of competition.
*NOTE: All 32 competitors were chosen and seeded by our less-than-esteemed committee. Feel free to debate amongst yourself in the comment section who we snubbed and how bad we screwed up on the seedings.
