A petition at Change.org launched this week urges people to join in demanding Facebook eliminate the “fat” emoji from its status options. Catherine Weingarten and Endangered Bodies started the online petition Monday, insisting the most popular social networking site in the world get rid of the chubby-cheeked, double-chinned emoji, because “fat is not a feeling. Fat is a natural part of our bodies, no matter their weight. And all bodies deserve to be respected and cared for.”
