BACS Honorable Mention: Richard L. Madison

Blood-Alcohol-Championship-Series

Richard-L-MadisonIt’s prom season, which is synonymous with spoiled teens and alcohol. And party bus driver Richard L. Madison apparently had plenty of both one night earlier this month.

The 54-year-old limo driver was arrested and charged with DUI and reckless conduct after taking 23 kvetching high school students through a ditch, over a couple of medians, across several lanes of oncoming traffic, and eventually to their senior prom in Glen Ellyn, IL.

Kids today have such an inflated sense of entitlement. It’s like they think the world owes them a safe drive to senior prom with a sober driver behind the wheel. Get real!

The bellyaching students said Madison was a half-hour late in picking them up. In his defense, he was probably busy polishing off a fifth of Old Crow to help him deal with a bunch of overprivileged kids who could afford to hire a party bus for senior prom.

Once the ride began, the students freaked out like the unappreciative bitches they are and called their parents, who in turn notified two off-duty police officers working security at the prom.

After trying to get rid of his sniveling passengers by dropping them off at the wrong hotel several miles from the prom, Madison ultimately was arrested after taking their ungrateful asses to the prom.

“I had a feeling he was drunk when we first went into the ditch,” pampered student Kelsey Dano said. “We got there, we got out of the bus or whatever, he kind of was stumbling and his eyes were really red.”

Maybe his eyes were red after weeping for your sorry excuse for a generation, Kelsey.

Seriously, kids today have such an inflated sense of entitlement. It’s like they think the world owes them a safe drive to senior prom with a sober driver behind the wheel. Get real!

As for Madison, he rightfully maintains he did nothing wrong.

“You know, if I was guilty, I would still be in jail,” Madison said after posting bail. “That’s my thought. I would not be at home right now.”

When he’s not driving a party bus, Madison obviously spends his free time watching marathons of Law & Order.RedShtick-Top-ColumnStop
